Immediately after finishing The Rage of Dragons, I grabbed The Fires of Vengeance and started reading. I’ve been pretty busy with work and a few personal things, so my reading of this book was a little slower than Rage, but I’m grateful for that because we won’t get book three, The Lord of Demons, for a couple more months. The book’s release in 2022 can’t come soon enough. While I wait, though, I’ll divulge my thought on the second book of this series.

In this part, I’ll walk through the steps I take to create a broad stroke of my world. We’ll make a general map, add features to it, and scatter some cities around here and there.

When I look to a reviewer for an opinion, I generally look for a reviewer whose tastes are similar to my own. What better way to see if our tastes are aligned than listing a few of my favorite things? I’m going to tackle my top three books, movies, games, and shows. We’ll start with number three and work our way up, one category at a time.

Tau, a lower-class citizen within this book’s caste system, is on a quest for vengeance that leads him to join his people’s military. There, he trains to become a better fighter, but better will never be good enough for him. He aims to be the best and will accept nothing less of himself.

This series will, from start to finish, showcase me creating my own homebrew campaign from scratch. We'll make maps, cities, and story arcs. By the end of it, you should have everything that you need (and more) to sit down for the first session of your long-lasting tabletop campaign. Below, I'm going to break down what each entry into this fifteen-part series will cover.

I have always had an Internet presence, as unfortunate as that is--I definitely shouldn’t have been spewing my thoughts on here fifteen years ago. However, I’ve never really given much care or attention to that presence. I haven’t focused on building a brand or an audience, I’ve just put myself out there and allowed myself to be found by anyone who happens to look. My website has changed consistently over the last few years and there has always been a sharp drop in the amount of content that I produce, often going several months without an update.I want to change that.
