Lightbringer (Red Rising Book #6) Predictions
This post is going to be something of a list of predictions while simultaneously just being a wishlist of things that I really want to see in this sixth book. Anything I mention here isn’t just something I think we will see, it’s something I really want to see and believe is entirely feasible.
What I Read This Winter
Boy, did I get some reading done this winter. I read more between late November and March than I had in the entirety of 2021—at least, in terms of word count. So, today, I want to reflect on the books I read over the winter months!
The Stories I Loved MOST in 2021
Today, I’ll be talking about the top three stories that I experienced in 2021. These can be across any medium, books, movies, games, etc. I’ll list off some honorable mentions to start, then I’ll get into the top three. It’s important to note that I am selecting from stories I experienced for the first time in 2021, not necessarily stories that came out, last year. Especially since I had some catching up to do with books and the like, I mainly read, watched, or played stories that were a year or two old, rather than new releases. That said, let’s get into my list, beginning with honorable mentions! Every story I mention will be linked if you’d like to experience it for yourself.
Book Review | Dark Age by Pierce Brown
...honestly, what a note to end this year on. Dark Age has so much to love, so the question isn’t really did I enjoy it, but rather how much did I enjoy it? Is this going to end up being the first Pierce Brown book that I give five stars to?
Halfway Through Dark Age... Should I Keep Reading?
ome to another reading vlog! I think I’m going to plan to do these when I have bulkier books to read because it gives me more time to enjoy the books rather than feeling rushed to get them completed within a week. This is a pretty good idea since I’ve got some hefty stories coming up after I’m done with Dark Age!
Book Review | Iron Gold by Pierce Brown
ron Gold by Pierce Brown is the introduction to a second trilogy in the Red Rising universe. The first trilogy ended with Morning Star, which you can read my review of here. I enjoyed Golden Son in the first trilogy, but books one and three were average at best. Still, I wanted to continue the story, so I picked up Iron Gold and started reading. But was it worth it? Did I enjoy it? Was Iron Gold even a necessary book, or should the story have been left alone? These are the questions I will be answering in this spoiler-free review of Iron Gold by Pierce Brown.
